305 tpi camshafts whos got what?

i'm in the process of deciding which kind of cam is the best for my 305 tpi. I had the engine rebuilt a litle over a year ago and right as the waranty ended the distributor gear broke and made a mess of my cam gear so i'm looking for a new cam. the engine is stock how ever i was planing on porting my heads geting a chip and so forth. all ready have headers and cat back. i'm not looking for a real agresive cam just beter than stock which will give me a litle more power.

i wanted to know what every one else had in their 305's and how much hp/tq they gained. any feed back would be apreciated. prices and any other tips would be nice too

A lot of guys are using the LT1 cam in their LB9's. Better than stock but no so big that you'll need a ton of tuning. ZZ4 is bigger yet but on a 305 you'll need some tuning and probably some intake mods to get the most out of it.

you can find an LT1 cam on eBay for dirt cheap, un-sure about the ZZ4, havent really looked into it myself.
