About 3 times now over the last year when starting, the starter does nothing and I hear an arcing, buzzing kinda sound from inside dash by the far left heater vent. It's hard to describe the sound exactly.

Anyway before I tear stuff apart I figured I'd check here and see if anyone has ever had this problem and what it was.

Also didn't know if here or electronics would be the place so I'm posting in both.

(a fire extinguisher is in the car just in case )

 

Bumping to the top... I'd like to hear an answer to this one too! (especially if it ever happens to me!)
