AFR 195cc vs 210cc

I talked with a afr dealer and he said my 400 sbc can run the 210cc afrs on the street (really measure 205) and said the 195cc heads would work well too.

my question is.. should I keep messing around trying to get the 195 heads or should I just get the 210 heads? (he said he even has the 210 afr heads in stock!)

it will be a holley stealth ram on top but, might run my current ported tpi for now.

I have slp 1 3/4" headers and the slp cat back

it has a s/c running about 5psi soon to be higher

with the afr heads it will be at an est. 8.9:1 comprestion ratio

the cam is pretty small but, the 480/487 lift are real close to the afr 210 flow range before the graph starts to leavel off

Since you are running a blower, get the 210's with the 76 cc chamber to lower the compression and better valvetrain. The 195's I don't think come in 76cc maybe 72cc's?

Get the 210's with the larger chambers, they will probably measure more than the advertised 76cc's. My afr 190's with 76cc chambers actully measured 80cc's.
