casting # questions
I have a question here that I need help getting an answer to.
Casting # 3951598 heads is on one side, the underneath has 441X. Has anyone seen this and can tell me what the deal is? I am being told that these heads are 441X heads. I don't think so. Looking for help on this one. Thanks

3951598....70......400..........76cc chambers
3932441X...69-70...350/400......80cc chambers
Somebody's trying to rip somebody off. Either they're 441X heads that somebody raced in a class where 598s were the "spec" head, and they ground off and re-created the casting number; or they're trying to pass off 598s (2-barrel heads) as 441Xs (a semi-decent flowing head, crippled by their extremely huge chambers).
