Quick Question (oil pressure guage)
Just a quick question... I just finished installing a mechanical oil pressure guage in my dash tonight. The problem, is that the clearance behind the guage is VERY tight. So tight infact, that the nylon (?) tube in the back of the guage takes a hard 90* turn right out of the guage.
Now this is my question... is this 90* bend going to do anything detrimental to the guage (ie. inaccuracy)? I started the engine, and the guage appears to read fine, the oil pressure at any given time appears to be the same as before, when I had the same guage in a different spot. Basically my question is: Is this 90* bend going to be a problem? Or does it sound like all is well?

You definetly want to make sure that the line is not kinked anywhere....other then that normal bends should not be a huge problem.....just no kinks....
good luck with that weather.....its 76 here in florida
