yeah i've all but got it done. waiting on a piece of tubeing to make a header out of. i'm making this a drag car. stripped interior, full set of auto meter gauges, trans, oil cooler, 2 fans. eletric water pump, lift off hood, air bags, fuel tank sump, external holley fuel pump, 4:56 gears, th 350 trans w/tci parts, 3200 converter. the list just keeps going on there isn't anything i've not changed or relocated. it's unreal the amount of time i spent fabricating or on the lathe making parts. as for a straight forward engine swap the 4.3 has a standard chevy bolt pattern for the trans and i did relocate the motor mounts. i just bolted both halfs to the engine and leveled it up after all was in place and bolted then welded the bottom half to the frame. the only real problem has been headers. i bought a set of hooker super comps for a 4.3 s-10. the left side fit without a lot of extra work (about 15 hours counting the O2 senser for a/f gauge). the right side hits the frame under the passanger side. i have to cut the tubes angle them another way and reweld some extra length back in it. i'm about a year later than i figured finishing it up, but i've done a few other engines and my sons camaro in between. i usually don't tell many people what i've done because they think i'm a dumbass for taking out a 350 for a v6. they maybe right about the dumbass part. actually when i started i had a L98 iroc and my sons 355 88. i sold the iroc and have a 68ss camaro now, so another 350 camaro didn't sound like that much fun to me.

Well I have seen som Vortec's run in to the 14's.. on S-10's.... Thats why I originally got interested, but I also desided to take it a step further and add the infamous Cyclone turbo....
