choke and idle problems

Car: camaro and gmc sierra
Engine: 5.0 l t.p.i,and 4.3 vortec
Transmission: manuel(iroc)automatic(other)
Axle/Gears: 3.45 bw
choke and idle problems
hi!my car wont choke and idle when is cold, but is corect at normal temperature.my car is iroc-z 1988 with 5.0 liter t.p.i auto.please help!

There is no choke on a TPI system. The ECM adds fuel for startup and cold idle based on coolant temperature. If the temperature sensor is defective, or the Idle Air Control cannot operate due to damage or contamination, you can experience hard cold starting and poor cold idle.
