I read thru the old postings on the Accel and SVO injectors. They look like the same injectors just different in color to me. Anyways some say to use the first groove others say take a dremel and cut the second groove all the way around and use it to install the retaining clips. Which one is it?

I sent an email to rich@cruzinperformance Im waiting to hear what he has to say.

I dont have my fuel rail to see for myself. I hate to pull eveything apart too install my new motor and find out i have to order different injectors.

You should use the top groove. That's what it was meant for. If the second one was meant to be used it would have gone all the way around. They will fit fine using the top. Good luck.

Yeah..Thats what Rich said use the top groove. Looking at the oem and SVOs it looks like it wont go into fuel rail as far as the original. If I use the top groove,That has me worried a little. Ive just read so many different opinions on how to install these things. Some say they work others say they dont. I just dont want to get this thing half togther and find out I need to buy different injectors.

I have some SVO 30#ers sitting here I have been playing around with for about a month now ( ... they should be in the car damnit) and they fit fine and seat ok with the clip in the top groove. Check your o-rings, make sure they are the same thickness as stock... I have heard of some blue colored o-rings, and they seem to be too small for the GM rails.

Hey Madmax...I was hoping you would jump in here. I saw the pictures of the blue o rings. mine that came with the injectors are black. I dont have the stock ones off to compare to yet. Whats the part number on the 30s you have? If they are the same as mine i will feel alot better. The ones I have are F1SE-E5A.
