Car won't start. Won't even crank. Missing a wire???
I rewired the car for my Commander 950 ecm and now it won't crank. No clicks or nothing. How many wires should go to the starter and which ones? I think I have all the wires connected for the actual "starter", but I only have one purple wire on the starter solenoid. Should there be another one? Where does it come from?
Thanks.
Thanks.

You need a purple wire on the smaller 'S' terminal, and a big, fat wire (from the battery) on the larger top stud. There should also be at least two smaller wires on this large stud, feeding the fusible links for the body/chassis wiring.

Ya, I already got those hooked up. 1 main wire to bat. 3 fuseable links, to main stud. Then the smaller purple wire is going to the solenoid. The stock computer has been removed and when I turn the key I'm not getting 12+ volts to the starter. Is it just the igition after that? I didn't think there was too much else involved.

i already replied in your other thread...
starter disable relay... ground the black wire with a yellow stripe..
relay will click on, and car will start.
you can just bypass the relay if you wish.
