I need to put a spare on my car but one of the lugnuts has a cap or something on it and it looks like it's some kind of anti-theft thing that the last owner used. I got the car from a dealer so I never had any contact with the previous owner. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this damn thing off? I need to put a spare on the car so I can drive it to get some body repair quotes.

 

the correct way would be with the tool designed for it. 2nd best method would be a socket for removing them or rounded lug nuts instead of using the correct tool.
