Proper way to install head bolts.

Im not talking the tighten down pattern. Im talking sealant. What can I do to assure myself that these things will not leak coolant? Whats the 100% fail proof way to install these? Thanks.

Enough to completely coat the threads. Plenty. A little up under the head and at the top of the shaft too. You can't put on too much ... well, almost not, anyway.
