Hey Guys,

Anyone try running a throttle cable from a vortec truck (5.7, or S10) ?

The TPI cable is too short to run the way I need to. (around the front of the tb, with the wheel on the passenger side).

I wanna run the TB the same way it runs in a vortec truck, so the hat is aimed twords the passenger fender. (cuz I have 90d piping that goes forward, and another 90d into the intercooler).

So, I wanna use a stock vortec cable bracket, and cable. Will the cable fit a thirdgen firewall + pedal, and is it infact longer than TPI ?

If someone knows, that will save me from yanking one at the yard and possibly wasting money finding out it don't work. Thanks!
