92 TBI car, to Edelbrock 1406 with Vortec heads... Anything needed to link the throttle or TV cables?

To do it right a TV cable linkage needs to be fabricated or bought. It's nessecary for the TV / carb linkage cables to have the correct relationship to operate properly, and even more importantly for your trans to survive.
I found out a lot by checking out the Bowtie Overdrives site, I can't locate the link to that right now, but I know it's somewhere.
If you can't find the site, I'll dig up the link later.
It's critical to get it right, don't drive your car til it's set up properly.
