Motor toast, need some suggestions for 550rwhp setup.

I don't know if I wanna go supercharged this time around, I don't like ###king with the timing so often.

Going to scrap the DFI, Superram...

Go carbed with a small 6psi paxton for simplicity reasons (Vortec already gone)

What you guys think about this idea?

Someone point me

Big Block... or at least big block inches, if you can fit them in a small block.

Hey, its your DFI, and Super-ram, do what you want w. it. I would stick w/ EFI, but go another route. Keep the DFI, and convert a Super Victor or Victor JR, to EFI.....that would be sick, especially sitting on top of a 434 cube SBC.....what do you think about that? If you are set on a S/C, I am just curious why you would consider a paxton, especially w/ a carb. I personally wouldn't run a carb if you drive your car alot, which it sound like you do. I would probably do a stroked 400 if I had the money, they make awesome power and torque, and if you wanted to keep the DFI, and Super ram, you could. If I was gonna go that route, I would build it mild, (550hp), and run an Intercooled ATI pro-charger, and push big-boost. That would get you what you want either way man. I guess it comes down to what you want, and how much you want to spend. I got lots of ideas, if you don't like these, tell me.....I'll throw some more out for ya.
