noise... not sure where from
Ok now that I have changed the tranny, swapped the interior, fixed the VATS and got the car to run off the proper prom.... I go to take it for a spin... I tart rolling and descide to floor the gas see if it's got some of its ***** back... well the tires start to squeel for a second or two then I hear a clunking noise... kinda like a popping nose (loud) coming from the mid to mid rear of the car... I do not know if the car is flexing from torque (doubtfull on a 91 camaro 3.1)... or if the tranny mount might be blown... I know the stabalizer links in the rear are bad... does anyone else have any suggestions? My friend said the rear end of the car dropped down real low when I hit the gas hard... could this be from the stabalizer links? also the noise was louder when taking a turn and hitting the gas...
thanks

My guess would be tranny mount. Hold your brake, pop the gas (in drive of course) and see if it makes the same noise. Luckily, if it is the tranny mount, its one of the easiest things on an F-body to change.
