AIR pump and stuff removal
I will be installing a 350 in place of my LG4 in a couple of months and I am thinking of getting rid of the AIR stuff. 1) will this do anything to the computer? 2) Is it worth anything power wise? 3)If it is worth it is there a link or anything or anybody that can give me the correct procedure for removing this stuff?
Thanks!
Mark

1. No. At least, no more so than changing the motor CID, and perhaps the cam, either or both of which may move the engine's optimum spark timing and fuel delivery curves out of the range that the computer can control the carb and dist over.
2. Not anything significant.
3. Unblot. Set aside. Plug holes in exhaust (5/16" inverted flare IIRC).
