Dumb question: Can you make Vette heads have exhaust risers?

I dont know if this is possible, or what, just thinking. Can the Vette heads be drilled out in the middle so they have a heat riser to work with an EGR valve? I would like to consider Vette heads for my 305, as they flow nice for 305's, but I would also like to keep the EGR functional w/o using a modified Vette setup. Can it be done?

Nope.

You'd have to port exhaust gases from the exhaust manifold or headers into a vette or aftermarket base.

For those that think otherwise:

I hate slashes... LOL

I take it that all of that open area is where the water circulates. Thanks Madmax.
