Strange noise

My engine has lately been making a squealing noise from under the hood. When i lifted it, it appears to be coming from the passenger side and im almost certain its not the alternator bearing. It almost sounds like a vacuum squeal. Maybe it's the a/c compressor?

It doesnt make the sound right when the throttle is pushed or when rpms are accelerating. I think it might be a valve of somesort
would the IAC make a sound like that ever? PVC?

alright im almost positive its the IAC. because it only makes the sound when the car sets itself to start idling. The sound is coming from exactly where the IAC is. I am pretty sure that the IAC has never been removed or cleaned since the car was bought as it has been my dad's car since 89 and nows its mine. (He has a '02 SLP SS Camaro) and he said he hasnt done anything to that. The engine was rebuilt about 8,000 miles ago which is why its a 355,but im not sure if they removed that or not. It's been making this sound for about a week and a half now. If the sound is coming from the valve, does that mean i need or new one? or do i just have to clean it? The car idles fine so i dont think it is shot

fixed it. Was the throttle body gasket. Only thing i didnt look at. Damn gasket is sticking out at the bottom
and torn from the bottom bolt hole. i dont have time to put a new one on
so i pushed the gasket back in and noticed that all of the bolts were about a 1/4 turn loose, wtf? well tightened those and the sound is gone for now. revved it to around 5grand and it still isnt making the sound so hopefully it should last until the weekend
