I don't think you have anything to wory about. Just don't do the typical high-school type thing, and do big steamy one-wheel-burnouts on wet pavement like 6-cyl people seem to like to do; that will cause VERY short rear end life.

If you had a temp gauge on the tranny and diff, you would see a great big spike in temps from power breaking for more than just a few seconds. This can cause just about any thing in the tranny to fail, from the sun shell to the clutches to the band. The rearend will suffer wear to the gears because of over heated lube, and too the bearings, seals and even the lube can be damaged. The rear brakes will over heat, burning the shoes, scortching the drums, ect.
