Open element filter

Just installed my K&N 14x3 open element drop base filter. Anyone have problems with the base resting on the dual connector wires of the ignition coils?????

Not that problem exactly but a 1/2 inch air cleaner spacer will fix that for you.

I had a monster K+N 14x5 drop base air cleaner and had problems with it interfering with my choke. So if you have a demon you might want to watch out for that. if you have the room I'd recommend getting a little spacer between the carb and air cleaner or a flat base for peace of mind.
