My 89 RS LO3 305 TBI when warm runs at only 25 or so psi[according to the gauge] at 60 mph is this normal, It seems a little low?

The oil pressure gauge on my LO3 is about 40 at idle. After it warms up; at cruise speed it's always pegged at 60 or whatever the highest number is. Then at idle it's like 50. I think my guage might be on the fritz though. It seems to be working though.

Change your oil pressure sending unit. It might have gone on the fritz. They have a tendency to do that on our cars. If you just want peace of mind, check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge. You can pick one up at most auto parts stores.
