Best place to get LT1 Starter?

Wheres the best place to get a decent LT1 starter (93-97 vette/camaro, etc)?? a Chevy Dealership, or a parts store like Monument or Kragen, or just go snag one off a junk yard?

Any good quality remanufactured starter should work fine. You generally get a lifetime warranty with most of those, so you'd never buy another starter again.

Personally I'd get one used off of a known good LT1 before I'd buy any of the parts store reman models. They are usually remaned so poorly that you'll actually have to use that lifetime warranty.

Also you have to beware and read that lifetime warranty very carefully. Sometimes they try and screw you by saying that they'll warranty the first one for a lifetime, but after that they'll give you liek 90 days. So what good does that do?
