timing?

Engine: 1988 chevy pickup 350 TBI (rebuilt)
Transmission: 700r4- Bowtie overdrives
Axle/Gears: 2:73's
timing?

when i went to move my camaro i had to hold the throttle almost to the floor for it to move.. would this be timing?

good, got it at a junk yard for 350.00, they said it went good in the car it came out of, cause they drove the car into the bay..

i also had messed with the timing, but i am not sure, i had a carb on it that gurgled gas in the barrels, i put a good carb on it, and ran out of gas, go figure... TV cable?
