"x" on my rods? and what cam?
I just took apart a 350 i purchased for a 100 bucks(has a slightly bent valve, and it has 441 casting heads, flat top pistons, 4 bolt mains, and the rods have x's next to each of the rod bolts. now are these factory rods or are they anything special? it also has a cam in the car and i cant seem to find info on it is it says "SR" and "119306" with "3434" and some other lightly printed numbers like "2006" and it has the date "11-22-00". any info on these items would be nice.

The "x" rods are a heavy duty factory rod. Usually in truck motors. I have a set of these in my 406. These are almost as good as the famous sbc "pink" rods. 441 casting heads are 76cc 194 intake
150 exhaust heads I believe. Sounds like a great deal for the money. No clue on the camshaft. Hope this helps....

Like likeenz24 said they are "heavy duty" rods. The well known "pink" rods was the same X rod castings, but with alittle extra work done to them, like shot peened, magnfluxed, etc.
The X rods are the strongest and truest chevy rod casting, but like all stock rods they still have 1 weak spot. The rod bolts. Not saying it's bad or anything, but just a known and proven fact. GM was cheap when it came to the steel used to make thier bolts!. They are fine in most useages. I would just limit stock rod bolts to about 5500 rpm max though
