Can someone tell me what the stock timing should be for a 305 Carb engine? TIA

BTW: This is a 85 Camaro 305. If someone has the haynes manual and could check, I would greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately I dont have the manual anymore, I sold it when I sold my 87 TA. Thanks.

stock timing should be 6 degrees before top dead center

Axle/Gears: 9-bolt w/ 3.23's
You definatly dont want the base timing set to something ATDC. 6-8 deg BTDC should work fine.
