My fan hasn't been working on my 86 TPI which used to be a 305 it is now a 350. Now there is no switch on the passenger side except the knock sensor however there is one on the drivers side between the first and second plugs. It has a slip on connector that just slides over the top of this pin like connector. Is that the fan switch???

no, that's the temperature switch for your gauges..

you might want to chagne your coolant temp sensor, located on the front of the intake manifold next to a square plug..
