vortec flow #s

vortec flow #s

got my heads flow benched after some porting on the exhuast ports...these have 1.94 intake and 1.60 exhaust valves...

before porting:
I/E
.100 62.3/53.1
.200 124.5/105.9
.300 178.2/126.4
.400 218.3/132.7
.500 225.7/136
.600 221.3/137.5


after porting (exhaust only)

.100 54
.200 105
.300 137
.400 158
.500 167

That is very close to what i got from the out of the box vortec's. (228 -145cfm @28

I ported the intakes with 2.02's to the tune of 245+ cfm @.500" without removing much metal.

Velocity was very high kept sucking in the radius putty while testing on the bench.

2.02's and 1.60's with moderate porting really soups these head up.
