crane cams Z cam
anyone check out these new Z cams?
how well will these work with a TPI motor?
113521 cam is one im particularly interested in,
459/486 int/exh with a 268/280 duration @ .050 and a 112* lobe sep.
only problem is, in the zcam description they have flat tappet and roller cams, but in the guide , they dont specify which cams are what.

I'd say they are about equivalent to the Comp cams Extreme grinds. Sounds exactly like the XE268.
For a TPI you want something with a larger lobe seperation, around 112-114 with reduced overlap.
I'd say just go with on of the Comp Extreme TPI computer controlled cams. It will work the best.

the zcam is rated 1800-5800rpm though while the xtreme energy is 1500-5200rpm. and since my intake is gonna be the stealthram, i want that extra bit of rpm.
