O.K. I'm in the Iroc this morning waiting at a light; A new Suburu WSRX is sitting next to me (new one with the big wing and real big hood scoop) I'm thinking....watch me suck the lights out of this 4 door. Green light; Me and the Rock are off in first gear nothing dramatic,but I give her some to let this guy know I'm no where near 240 h.p. (ZZ4/T56/3:70) We are going like 10-15 mph. I look over and he's at my door midway, so I hammer the throttle in first gear. Not catching this guy sleeping, He lays it down in first as well. It's on!!! As soon as my peddle hits the floor in first, I hit 5500 rpm, shift hard and fast into 2nd gear (hurst short throw on my side ) the Rock's pipes singing loud and deep. What's that? little Sub still at my door midway not going anywhere. I bang third gear quick (the Rock's best gear) gonna' eat this guy!!!! NOPE!!! little Sub still at my door. Iroc breathing heavy and loud. Little Sub quiete as can be. I reach 5500 rpm in third and am forced to shift to 4th gear. Climing hard in fourth and the little Sub is still midway up my door. I lay into the big 1LE brakes and give the guy the thumbs up.

Soooo, who has stats on the new WSRX? Anyone have experience tangling with one?

 

Don't you mean WRX STI? I don't know what a WSRX is. If you mean STI, Then it's 300 hp, 300 lb-ft.

 

That's the one....are they supercharged? intercooled stock?

 

2.5L flat four, DOHC's, 4 valves

Single turbo, Intercooled, six speed....
and 4wd. Good thing you didn't "Go for it" from the stop...he'd have left you.

275/40/17 on hard roadcourse susp. What weight is that little Sub?

I don't have anything internally done to the zz4, but I have all the goodies around it.

Got any ideas for adding some power here? I won't go nitrous.
