Corvette L98

I'm gonna get a covette 89 l98 complete engine. I was wondering if my 91 TPI will bolt onto the l98 heads. I know that the EGR will no longer exsist, i just need to know if the bottom part of the 91 plenum will bolt to the 89 aluminum heads. I want to keep my SD, then sell the mass air.

The 91 base wont bolt to the vette aluminum heads as is, but that can be remedied with some machine work... even a drill will work for that. Beyond that, it will work fine.

I change the 1LE because it is too slow and is no longer origional anyways... somebody swaped the 12 inch front brakes before i got the car and its been in 4 accidents. The 5.slow is to slow. So do i just redrill holes for the vette intake, or do i just widen the ones that are already there?

If I were to get an L98 big mouth manifold and would my 91 runners bolt to it? How far up the manifold would i have to go to get the bold holes to match?

Yep, thats very true. Get yourself a drill, put the manifold on, and eyeball the changes. Its 4 holes total that need to be reworked. I just did this tonight. Put L98 heads on my 305 TPI in my 88 T/A. I should have pics soon, so look for those on the TPI board

Also, since you are in Lake Oswego, check out the Cascade Crew board man! We need more people from Oregon in our group!
