G-Tech Times, How Much Can I knock Off???
OK, I just had my tranny rebuilt but the 1-2 shift slips at WOT, really hurting my 1/4 time 15.86 @ 92.9mph. So I tried shifting a little different, when I went to shift into 2nd I let completely off the gas and then got back on it and it shifted fine. So now I got a 1/4 time of 15.61 @ 95.2mph . How badly is letting off the gas hurting my 1/4 time, obvisouly not as bad as keeping my foot on the gas. Is it possible to knock off about .5 with a firmer shifting tranny, I will be having a corvette servo and .500 boost valve installed when I have my tranny looked at again.
