Its in the back of the dash behind the radio pod. It is in the center of the dash...the dash will have to be removed. What is the reason that you are looking for it?

Think I found it, but can't seem to get to it...even after taking a bunch of stuff off.

I have a no-start condition. I have traced it down to this piece...the PASSkey decoder module...at least according to my service manual by doing the STARTER ENABLE RELAY TEST

Got this baby out...dash in shambles right now.

Is this a Dealer Only item? No parts stores around here have it, or have ever sold it.

The weird thing is that yesterday when I checked the resistance at the plug, I got the same reading as my key. Tonight...I couldn't get any resistance at all. It's worth a shot to bypass it....I didn't realize this tech article was available until seeing it in a search.

One way or another I'm going to get my car running.

IS that what you were referring to?

At $301 for a replacement from local dealer....NO Thanks.

I plan to burn a new chip and turn VATS off. Hope that fixes it.
I was trying to fix this thing correctly...but that's too much money.
