I am looking to make a 377, so I will need one that can use a 350 mains for the 3.48" stroke, with an externally balanced crank and a 1 piece rear seal. I didn't see one in Jegs, Summit or Scoggin Dickey, but does anyone know where I might be able to get one?

Your best bet would be to get the aluminum bracket that goes on the back of a 2piece seal motor and allows a 1piece seal to be used. GM should have them. Since your using a 350 crank, it will be internally bal.

 

not sure about the 1 piece seal but gm makes some preformance blocks as does some aftermarket manufactures.

I've been busy, but I'm back.

Moroso makes a conversion to the 1-piece seal in kit form. It's sold thru Jeg's and is very low cost.

Jegs also sells the different sized bearings to make a 400 into a 377.

Any 350 SBC reciprocating assembly should internally balance.
