where is the map sensor located on a 86 ta

where is the map sensor located on a 86 ta

i cant seem to find the map sensor on my 86 ta hell i cant even find it on the sensor chart on my hood did they have that sensor ?

Axle/Gears: 3.73
The Map sensors came on the '90 - '92 TPI thirdgens. You more than likely have a MAF sensor.
The MAF came on '85 - '89 TPI thirdgens.
If you have a Card, I have no Idea.

Correct me If I'm wrong here.

If its a carb car, its next to the relays on the driver side, mounted to the firewall.

I'm not sure if it was called a "MAP" sensor those years, but it sure as hell is one.

That's where it is on a carb'd car. And, some parts books call it that.
