some one told me i could use seats from a cetain year sunbird, grand am or cavilar, does anyone know if its true and what years they are

Go to Automotive Engineering, and get yourself some Drag Buckets, with the covers. I bought them for my Malibu a few years ago, and it cost me bout $80 a piece for them. Just a thought for ya man.

Fieros. You will need to keep your recline mechanism because the Fiero seats dont recline all the way. Fieros are dime a dozen in wrecking yards around here, and they are thinner seats up top so if you ever have passengers in back they will thank you.

If you try something else, keep in mind the Firebird/Camaro seats have a really low seat position, most seats are very tall above the seat mounting rails and would be too high if used in our cars.
