Bad Oil pressure on startup.
Whenever its a cold outside and I start up my car, I have no oil pressure. After the car warms up a bit it will start to act erratic, and then it will eventually act like it should.
Do I need to change the oil pump?
I also notice if I put the car in reverse, it seems to help. I know, very strange.

Get a mechanical gage and test, that will tell you whats really going on. Your gage could be inaccurate.

Odds are about 99.999% that the oil pressure sending unit is broken.
Go replace it and see what happens. $15 and 5 minutes. If it's leaking, then the odds increase to about 99.99999% that it's the cause.

The thing is, I replaced it a few months ago, but I can try another one. Also, the connector looks like it could be replaced.
Where can I buy that connector, or should I cut one off of a junkyard car?
I just found it wierd that it only seemed to do this when it was cold outside.

Where did you buy the new sensor? What brand? Some of them are junk. That specific piece should only be bought from GM if you want it to last.

Can't say I remember the brand. I guess I can go to the Chevy dealer and try to get both parts... and know that I'm getting the right/best parts.
If this doesn't fix it, then what's next? Oil pump?
