new wires didnt work

ok on my 88 iroc i have put a new radiator new 8.8 fire wire a super coil and new plugs . the car did pick up some horse power the cars plug gap is suppose to me .35 but the plugs that were in it were .45 . i also found out why it started hard was because of the timing was set in advance which gives more power but makes it sart a bit hard now i heard stories the the car use to have alot power it use to be able to go down the highway and with the shift kit drop it down into 2nd and smoke the tires . it has 2.77s . but the guy that owned it never put nothin on it right now i am puttin brakes and a new idlin arm on it and next is the struts . but all i can get out of it is not very often it will squeel good but from a dead stop sometimes it bogs out when i tramp it then goes . i know that the oxygen sensor hasnčt been changed and the car runs rich so that might be that . but i was wondin if anyone else with a 350tpi iroc could tell me how theres works if its capable of smokin the tires in second gear my tires size is 245 50r16s too so that might have alot to do with it please email me back with all the info and my fuel pum is gettin loud.

Just FYI, when stock my 305 could peel out and chirp the tires shifting into second, so I bet any healthy iroc could. Same size tires, but I have 3.23 gears. Change the o2 sensor and the fuel filter and scan for codes. You may have some sensors failing, scanning could tell you.
