Is Methanol safe to use as water remover ?

I can't find a single "dry gas" product anywhere that has Isopropyl Alcohol, which is supposedly totally safe for cars. All I can find is stuff that has absolutely no ingredients listed, or has methyl alcohol or methanol as the main ingredient. If methanol is not safe for our cars, where can I get some of the old-fashioned isopropyl "dry gas' ? Assuming it is safe.... Once I dump this dry gas into my tank, it could be in there for a few months, so I want to be careful. btw my car is TPI.

Thanks

Check the first aid isle at Jewl/Osco or Dominicks. Isopropyl alcohol 90% $0.99. But 10% of the 12oz bottle you just emptied into you tank is water??? I dont know???

Let it sit for now, when you go to drive it whenever first see if it -needs- it, then if it does just add the bottle and get rid of that tank of gas as fast as possible... or just live with a little water in your tank until you can fill it up with good stuff, I wouldn't let it bother you too much.
