Oil Fiter Question?¿

Hey guys, today I was changing my oil, and I steered clear of the Fram oil filters after reading what some of you wrote about them not being so good. I went with an AC Delco. The question I have is, where the oil filter screws onto on my 89 GTA, I noticed that where it screws on it has two hoses that go to it they look like cooling hoses with clamps. And the part it screws to says Modine Mfg. corp with a part # on it (14092135) on it. It looks like it is a seperate part that screws onto where the filter would have originally gone. It looks like some sort of oil filter cooler. I want to know if this is stock, or someone added this. Like I said, it has two rubber hoses with clamps that go to it, and then they go in to to thick metal lines that go up under the front of the car up to the passenger side of the car. I have never seen anything like this.
Thanks guys
Mike
