World Products S/R Torquer 305????

I have a 89 305. I am converting it over to TPI and I want these heads my question is, can I just order the heads for a 86' since that is the year of my TPI unit? I THINK that the heads should bolt on the same as 78 and newer. Let me know I need help ASAP!!!!!

Yes, if you use an 86 TPI set up, you will need the heads for 86 and older. 87 is when they changed the heads to centerline valve covers, and changed the intake bolt patter.

R.O.B. is correct, you order the head type based on your intake type.

You can use your center-bolt valve covers on these heads, but you will have to grind off the perimeter bolt bosses on the heads to get them to fit properly. I suppose you could modify your valve covers, but grinding off the bosses is what World recommends. Something to consider if you are buying them assembled. I got mine unassembled and plan on porting them anyway, so it isn't a problem for me.
