Well where to start. I own an 87 Camaro iroc-z 305 w/ TPI and the 700r4 trany. Over the last few months I started to notice a gallop, if you will in, in the rpms of my engine. The car will jump up about 200 rpms at certain points. It only gallops at rpms between 0-2500. Any higher and it doesn’t happen. It happens right before shifting and while cruising. It will not happen when the engine is running below operating temperature 160 degrees (thermo master prom). Some one mentioned to me that it might be the tack itself but you can feel it in the pedal and in the seats. After I noticed it, the gallop became slowly worse. I think it maybe a sensor or a ignition modulate, but no codes are coming up so I am stumped can anyone help me

Nobody has any ideas. i am open to any sugestions. i need to get this fixed

 

Its just a guess, but I wonder if the IAC could be openning and making the engine rev up a bit, agian just a guess. If you could by-pass it you could see if thats it, if it stop doing it.
