question about factory oil cooler....

i was reading some old threads about the factory oil cooler that came equipped on some of our cars and i read something about the hoses being connected to the heater or something like that? im planning on removing my heater along with A/C next week, does this mean no more oil cooler? if not then what would i have to "bypass" in order to keep my oil cooler working properly?

oh and im also goin to be swapping in a new complete motor, can i reuse my oil cooler system with it, no problems?

You could check it out for yourself. On the passengerside of the motor there should be acouple hard lines with connectors. As long as you hook the lines back up it should be fine. You'll need to complete a loop with a inlet source and an outlet source like OEM.

here's another thread https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=196011

Basically as long as you have the clearance the old setup (filter with spacer) on the new motor it should work.
