Piston Questions
Piston Questions
Is it better to go with a bushed pin or a pressed pin? The Speed Pro Forged pistons are going into a 400hp 350. Can i put the pins in myself, or should i have a machine shop do it?
If i was to rebuild an engine, can i let it sit for a few years with the assembly lube before i put it in my camaro?
Thanks

you need to have the shop press the pins into your pistons (he'll need the rods as well) because he will be using a small oven to heat up the piston, and I don't think you have an oven that goes that hot
