Code 32 while cruising at 70mph
I had some problems last summer with the IROC tripping a code 32. I had some hard starting issues also that might have tripped the code. I replaced the EGR valve and all was good. Even last summer and again this summer, I have been getting the code 32 only when cruising around 70 for about 15 minutes or so. I don't have problems if the speeds fluctuate. What could be the problem? The car has only 8300 miles. If it might be vacuum related, can someone show me what vacuum lines might need replacing?

SM,
Recheck the EGR and EGR diagnostic temperature sensor. A little carbon on the sensor valve makes a nice restriction and insulator.
The vacuum routing should be something like this:
Check the nylon tubing under the plenum and from the EGR solenoid to the valve.

My 90 formula 350 does the same thing. Where is that sensor? I see it in the picture but where did it come from? Don't see it on my engine.

The sensor screws into the base of the EGR valve. You might not see it cuz it's under the plenum.

Not all egr's have the sesor either , I had the same problem over the winter , My problem was solved after three erg valves a vacume soilnoid and new vacume lines,, what was causing my problem was my exhuast being to free flowing, the egr in my car is a negative feedback valve wich works with back preassure from the exhuast, . so i tested this theary by putting on a 20 dollar special mufflar , I havent had a problem since.
