Opinions wanted from the guru's.
I am putting a 2nd engine together for a street stock dirt oval car. It has to be iron block and heads and 2bbl carb.
I have a zz4 short block and a solid cam from isky (2bbl short track cam). I have Accel MSD ignition and billet race distributor as well as a Victor JR 2bbl alum. intake.
My next purchase is going to be a set of heads. Does anyone have experience with any of the bowtie heads or the Dart Iron Eagle or World products Sportsman II heads? I know I have to watch intake runner size. 200cc is about max for the 2bbl in order to keep velocity up.
I don't want to have to do much maching work or porting.

Consider a set of Vortecs? Just get them cut for bigger springs??? http://store.summitracing.com/partde...4&autoview=sku

I looked real hard at the Vortecs, I doubt many others would be running them -I like that idea. And I have heard nothing but good about them but I'd need bigger springs and whatever else needs done for a lift of .534. Scoggins Dickey had a Bowtie version with 2.00x1.50 valves but it was only good to .530 lift. I'd also need maching to put guide plates in or pay for self aligning rockers. I've got a nice set of 1.5 roller rockers still in the box.
