Testing sparkplug wire

I know there has been post about this before but anything I put in the search doesnt come up. Bascaiily I believe these new wires I have, have abreak in them. What am I looking for with a volt meter on these? I know put one prong in one side and one in another and look to see if something changes due to a break in the wire. Let me know thanks

You need to set the meter to impeadance, resistance, or ohms. Or to the position that looks like the greek leter omega. Then you need to set the scale to kilo-ohms, K ohms. The touch each end of the wire with the terminals and you should get a reading. Remember not to touch the metal terminals with your hands becuase the human bopdy will register on the meter too.
