somw help with engine please
hey people,
hade a question and want to see if anyone know whats wrong. Just did a 350 rebuild on my 87 formula TPI. it has about 200 miles on the new engine and i noticed a loud whistle coming from the engine bay. it happenes when it is at an idle and quites when you get into the trottle. i looked around the engine bay when it was whistle'n and it sounds like its coming from the EGR or under the plenum and runners. it idles at about 600 and stays there so i dont know if the EGR is bad or a vacum leak or whats going on. anyone with help thanx......its been 2 months since i have driven it and dont want to screw it up again. thanx
