Oil Leak Near Fuel Pump
The motor is a ZZ4 and it has the external pump mounted on the engine. I started noticing a spot on my driveway, so when I looked under the car the area around the fuel pump was wet. From what I can tell the fuel pump mounts to a metal plate which intern mounts onto the side of the motor. I don't see a gasket there, so I am wondering if it is a metal to metal seal. What can I do to stop this leak? I also am wondering why oil is present where the fuel pump is located. Is it to lubricate the fuel pump shaft?
By the way I'm almost positive the oil is coming from there, because the whole top half of the motor is dry and the fuel pump area is where it is the most wet.
Thanks

The mechanical fuel pumps have a pushrod on them that operates off the camshaft.
Yes there are two gaskets on the fuel pump. One is the shape of the metal plate, the other is the shape of the pump.

On the front of the motor, just around the corner from the fuel pump, there are 2 bolt holes. Are there bolts in them?
If you look into the top one, you'll see the fuel pump pushrod exposed. Put a short bolt (½") in that hole with some silicone on it.
