AC Accumulator Question?¿

Hey guys, today I had the AC on, and I noticed the accumultor under the hood (The aluminum canister against the firewall) with a thin coat of frost-white ice on it. The fan blower was on low. This is the second time I saw this. The temp outside was about 80 and raining. I use the AC all the time, and usually have the fan blower on high, but haven't noticed it any other time. Is this normal, or OK? I know on a regular Air conditioner like on a house, when you see ice, that usually means the system is low on freon. But I know car systems are different.
Thanks for the help.
Mike

What you are seeing is normal. It gets plenty cold there, and if the humidity is up there (as it has been here lately.....) Ice will accumulate on parts of the system. If your A/C blows nice and cold, don't worry about it.
