I want to verify that what I have is in fact a ZZ4 5.7l cam or ZZ3 before installing it. Is there a certain stamp number I should see?
There are several # stamped on each end.

you ought to be able to find a pn at jim pace or scroggin dickie sites to check against the pn on your cam, plus you could always measure the lift of it, duration would be a little harder to figure out.

The SD part# is 10185071, but that number is no where on the cam. On the rear end of the cam, the number 193 00L 071 FM14 is stamped on it, the only thing similar is the '071' part, is that it?
On my other post, a guy posted his stamp number and the only thing common between them was the 071.

 

Read your post on the TPI board. I'd say its genuine.
